Happy 8 months Izzy

Izzy is an 8 month old going on 2 years. The biggest change is that he's started to crawl and is now all over the place - you can see the mischievous look in his eyes and the thrill that he can now get to wherever he wants. Here are a few updates from this past month: 

• If there are 5 things on the ground and there is one thing you don't want him to have, Izzy will go straight towards the item he should not have a put it in his mouth. 
• He likes to stand more than crawl. 
• Izzy has been the little jet setter this past month traveling to San Francisco, Los Angeles/Laguna Beach, Toronto and of course NYC! He has been pretty good on each flight even is the 5 hour delays on both cross country sections (however, it was brutal for his mom and dad)!
• He's had a different babysitter in each location and has been a charmer with all of them (We are so thankful to Mimi, Debra, Norma, Karen, Levi and Annaka)!
• He's started to sleep through the night - 8pm until 6:30-7ish/am. A couple times a week he forgets and wakes up once during the night. 
• He's still a champion eater. This month we've introduced more solids that he can feed himself such as cheese, rice puffs and pasta - even though its very messy! So far, he's not a big fan of bananas and pasta.
• He's started to mimic everything - hence his new habit of sticking out his tongue. His Aunt Nicole is trying to teach him high-five and Great Aunt Doreen had him clapping for the first time when singing his new favorite song, Skinamarinky Dinky Dink. I even think he's tried to zerbert me!
• Hates to be alone and is happiest when he has an audience 
• The nickname of 'the can opener' or 'Izzilla' still stands since he still only has the one fang/eye tooth up top and now 4 on the bottom. The 3 other upper teeth are still breaking through the skin and will hopefully be here come 9 months!

Here are some picts from his 8 month photo shoot - its the same shirt as the 7 month photo shoot. However, it will be the last time he wears it since it barely covers his big belly!
