Our second visitor in Palo Alto was my cousin, Sharon Fisher. We were so excited when she came for a visit the first weekend in August! Here are some picts from her fun weekend trip.
We started off with an EPIC Shabbat dinner where Sharon and I only cooked recipes we found in magazines - everything turned out delicious. Benji’s cousin Michael and his girlfriend, Linda, came over. Michael is a wine connoisseur and brought the most amazing wine I’ve ever had! He brought bottles from our birth age (Benji/Sharon 78, me 80 & Izzy 2012). Between the amazing wine and Sharon and my cooking (I do have to brag a little) it was the perfect Shabbat. Plus, Izzy was on his best behavior (unique for Shabbat dinners).

We visited our first 'Open Space' area 15 minutes away called Rancho San Antonio. We (including Izzy) hiked-in 1 mile and back to a working farm. On the way we saw deer, snake, squirrels, birds and geese. It was quite adventurous (especially for our NYC cousin). There was even a spot to watch and fly airplanes....Izzy was amazed.
