Izzy's busy month

Miss your Izzy updates? Miss this cute face? Its been a very busy month so here are a few excuses why I've not updated the blog.

First, we moved from our beloved apartment at 63 Downing down to the Financial District. Our land lady wanted to move back in and after 2 years of pushing her off, it was time to evacuate.

The move was NOT easy. Benji was the true champion helping to pack the majority of the boxes as I worked to entertain Izzy. We also had a lot of help to watch Izzy throughout the moving process as he needs a lot of love and attention these days - so thank you to Stefani, Sarah, Debra, Tal, Danny & Tevia!!

The day after we moved, we flew straight to Atlanta for my cousin Alison's wedding. It was gorgeous and we are so excited to officially welcome Marc to our family!! It was also a great excuse to go home to Atlanta. Izzy got to see his Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Aunts and Cousins. One special surprise meeting his Great Aunt Nancy and Cousin Shayna from Israel for the first time!

Izzy has become a champion flyer. We were soooo lucky on the full flight to and from Atlanta, Delta left the seat open on our row. This way Izzy was able to spin around and climb all over us for half the flight and sleep the remainder. I think we'll have to start buying his own seat soon!

Then, right after we returned home, I had my annual charity, art auction fundraiser with the ADL. We exceeded all goals and had over 300 people attend and raised over $70,000! Here are some pictures from the event.

Whew. As you can see, things have been quite busy. We have finally started to settle in our new apartment and explore our new hood --- both we really like a lot! I would love to say that the next few weeks things should settle down and i'll be better at updating the blog but we've got trips to San Francisco and Canada planned so.....more adventures to come!
