We can't believe that Izzy is almost 2 years old! Here are some update of our little man.
Food - Izzy is still a fan of "sauce." His favorite lately is steak sauce. He will dip EVERYTHING in steak sauce from his eggs to bananas and even mix in his oatmeal! He also still is a big fan of pickles and soda water...he eats like an old man!
Talking - Izzy sounds a lot like Borat when he speaks. His two most used words are 'NOT' (instead of no), and 'SHIT' (for shirt or sit). He also loves to yell out super heroes like Batman or Spiderman. He will also randomly chant Bubby and Zaydie throughout the day.
Smarty pants - He can count to 20 and spell his name out loud. The credit goes to Princess teaching to this to him. He also surprised us last Shabbat when we were saying the Hamotzi, and he said the last word without us saying it first. It was a perfect reminder that he's a little sponge.
Sensitive boy - he gets homesick when we travel and he always says, "home, home, home," even if he's having a wonderful time. For Izzy, there's no place like home
Gymnast - he's very athletic and loves to do splits and somersaults. He learned a lot of this from NY Kids Club. We just started a sports class with the same gym and he LOVES it! He also likes to pretend to do pushups and sit ups.
Transitions - new nanny, new classes and school. Izzy had a lot of transitions this month, but he's taking them like a champ. Can't say the same for his parents.
School - he should have started school before he turned 22 months, but he slept through his first day. More about his second day on the blog sometime soon.
My phone (also my main camera) broke a couple weeks ago so sadly I could not capture all the cute things he does throughout the month. My iPhone 6 is on its way with a much-improved camera --- so it will be worth the wait! The good news is that I used our nice camera to capture a reunion of Izzy & Anna!
