Passover 2016

We had so much fun on our 2015 Passover Vacation with the Shomair Crew, we booked an entire year in advance to head back to ClubMed Sandpiper. As soon as we found out we were pregnant, we knew the trip was not in store for us this year. We tried to find a similar all-inclusive AND family-friendly resort in driving distance, but nothing met the qualifications. Instead, I was excited to break out my Passover gear and hang out with our new PA friends and family. Here is how we celebrated Passover this year. Next year in Israel (or Florida)!

The Oshmann Family JCC where Izzy goes to school always puts on incredible (and free) Jewish events for the family. We went to the Passover event and Chabad had their mobile Matzoh bakery set up where Izzy got to make his own matzoh from scratch. It was a really impressive program and we all learned a lot!

For the First night of Passover we were invited over to a classmate of Izzy's house. Izzy is a HUGE fan of Talia and her older sister, Ella. We were inspired by Maya to up our Hagadah game and invest in something special (beyond paper ones from Publix). She had one passed down by her Grandparents! Maya is from Israel so Talia and Ella speak Hebrew, so the girls could easily take on the 4 questions in Hebrew!

We had long time friends and family over to our place for the second night of Passover. With 3 kids under the age of 3.5, it was very eventful (as you can see in the photos below). The best was when one of them totally puked everywhere right before dinner. The good part was that she was fine and mostly made it on the plastic I had under her chair. Plus, it was not MY food since it was before dinner:-) I think it was very good birth control for our 2 friends without kids at the seder!
